We spent all day Sunday of this weekend with the girls. We hadn't seen them in a while! That night we took them to the playscape in Davison with Grandma M. Then we all went and grabbed icecream. Lindsey chose mint chocolate chip (Uncle Scott would be proud), and Sara ate all of Ryan's cookies and cream. They ate the cones and all! Then we went back to my parents', I packed Lindsey for FL and we all tried to get to bed early. The next morning came fast. Their flight was at 7 a.m. so they woke me up at 4:45 to take them to the airport. We got everything loaded and waited til the last second to wake Lindsey. She was actually excited to be up before the sun, she couldn't figure out how it could be morning and still be dark. We picked up my Grandpa and headed to the aiport. I helped them unload everything, said my goodbye's to Lindsey and watched my mom, dad, Lindsey, and Grandpa head to FL! Lindsey was really excited to go on a big plane again, and reassured everyone that "it's not scary, it's just noise". I headed back to my parents' and went back to bed. I woke up at 9:15 thinking Ryan must be up with Sara (I had went to a different room because I didn't want to wake them coming back to bed). I checked and they were both still sleeping! Sara usually sleeps late, but not that late. So I woke her up, we had a parade to go see this day, so we needed to get moving! Burton was having their annual Memorial Day parade, and Scott and Joy were walking in it because her dad is running for City Council. We were going to meet Grandma M. there to watch. We grabbed McDonald's on the way, the parade was at 1, so we wanted to get there early enough to get a good spot, and we thought lunch would keep Sara busy til the parade started. It worked! If there's food around, Sara doesn't go far. Then the parade started. Sara had fun watching everything, but it definitely took the three of us chasing her, she was everywhere!
Here's Scott and Joy coming to give Sara suckers:

Sara had fun and got lots of candy. The older kids were really sweet to her and would bring her candy if they didn't think she got enough. I think her favorite part of the parade may have been all the dogs we saw. She is obsessed with dogs, everytime we saw one she yelled "doggie!!!". She's starting to say a lot of words now. Some examples; daddy, mama, Pepper, Scott, apple, baby, pretty, belly, two, three, toot toot, cookie, pat pat, ball, doggie, cheese, and a lot more. She also knows where he belly and nose are. She loves to go outside and if you say "shoes" she will go get her shoes bring them to you and sit down for you to put them on. She can clap, and loves to! She's a really good climber and tries to keep up with the big kids at the playground. She'll even try to go down the biggest slides. She's going to be a daredevil, total opposite of her sister! Anyways, we had a lot of fun that day, and got to talk to Lindsey soon after telling us she had fun on the plane. As soon as I get the pictures from my mom from Disney I'll post!
OMgosh she is adorable!!!
