Wynter visits IN!

Tuesday night, Sept. 1st Wynter, Connor, and Olivia came to visit us. We were really excited, and had lots of things planned for the week! The next morning we decided to head to the zoo. I had gotten a coupon to get a guest in for free, a free ride for our whole party, and half of the food. It saved us quite a bit of money! First of all, getting 4 kids to the zoo by 10:30 was pretty amazing, considering we both took showers and packed their lunches. We were pretty proud! We put Olivia in my single stroller, and pulled Connor and Sara in the wagon. Lindsey is used to walking at the zoo. First we headed for African Journey. For some reason the kids were a bit grumpy here. We met up with my friend Jackie and her daughter Madeline. The kids perked up a little when we got to the drums. Then we headed over to Australian Outback for lunch. There's a Dairy Queen there, we had packed the kids lunches, but Wynter and I bought our food. Here's everyone right before heading in for lunch:
After lunch we went back and saw the kangaroos. Then we decided to head over to the petting zoo. On the way there we stopped and played at the kid's train:
The kids all loved seeing the animals at the farm. They went in with the goats and got to pet and brush them. Then we asked them which ride they would like to go on. Lindsey picked the boat ride, so we headed back to Australian Adeventure to ride. I stayed off with Olivia since she was sleeping, and I've rode the boat before. Here they are finishing up their ride:
After the boat ride we headed up to the horses. Lindsey particularly loves this horse names Cookie, because that's who she rode the first time. Cookie wasn't out this day, so she refused to ride any other horse. Connor and Sara got to ride though!

After the horse rides we headed home for nap time. Thankfully all the kids took a good nap! We needed it. Thursday we headed to Indian Trails park. We packed lunches for all of us, and met some of my friends there. The kids had fun, except for the bees. They like to both us while we eat! Jackie got stung this day. We stopped on the way home and got some extra fresh tomatoes for BLT's that night. We had a couple from our garden, but not enough. That night we had our BLT's. Then after we got the kids to bed Wynter and I headed over to Jackie's to hang out. We had lots of good food, and had fun chatting!
Friday we decided to head to a playscape at a seminary. While Wynter was in the shower Lindsey wanted to hold Olivia, she loved it:
We went to the playscape, but were again bombarded by bees when we got lunch out. We then headed over to Jefferson Pointe to do some shopping. The kids had fun playing in the play area, and humored us by being pretty good while we shopped. That night Ryan took Lindsey to meet my dad, because she was going to my parents' for the weekend. Wynter and I took Sara, Olivia, and Connor out for Mexican. It was yummy! Then we headed to Gordman's because they were having a sidewalk sale. We got a lot of cute outfits for the kids for next summer! Wynter also got a lot of cute fall decorations. By that time it was bedtime.
Wynter was leaving Saturday afternoon, so most of Saturday morning we went through the girls' clothes so Olivia could wear them. Then we got everything all packed up. While we were busy doing that Sara was having fun with Olivia!

We were sad to see them leave! We had a very busy and fun filled week! Thanks for coming, hope to see you again soon!
